Grounded.

There is a sigh of relief that happens this time of year for people who like to garden. The temperatures warm up. The forecast looks favorable. The snow goes off the local mountains. It must mean it is time to plant. The fear of frost is deminished.

Seeds and seedlings can be put in the ground now with a reasonable assurance they will not be killed by cold weather or a frost over night.

Last week I worked the soil in the beds. They are slightly raised to hold the soil we have brought in. This weekend I started putting to ground some of the greenhouse plants. A few delicata squash to start and one tomato. I may be over cautious. I hate the thought of losing any seedlings that I have babied for several weeks. However getting them in the ground or larger pots is so important. (I think there is a lot of spiritual lessons to be investigated using gardening points. Trust and faith being just a couple.)

Nice to be grounded.

Anyway. Lots of planting to be done. Watering and Nurturing to be seen to. Attention to weather and needed things to pay attention to. Staying Ground. Hmmmmm. Lord Bless the growth.
