I have enjoyed the passed few days. The sun has been shining. The clouds have been few. The temperatures have been mild for February. The roads have been clear. (One still needs to watch out for icy spots at night and early mornings when the temperature is at or below freezing, and even above freezing in the coolies.)
I have been able to drive my Legacy GT. Which really helps me shake off the “cabin fever” that the winter doldrums always produce in me.
And shake them off we did with a northerly run up and back on a favorite highway to a favorite location.
I love this car! I wrote a poem about it awhile back. Maybe I will share it at some point. It is titled “Lil’ Sleeper Wagon” and could be sung to the tune of”lil deuce coop” if one wanted to.
(Truth is, she is too loud to be a sleeper. And me being me, I let her “bark”, howl, and roar as much as possible.)
A Las, this weather is a classic “fake spring”. So we will enjoy it as much as possible. Winter is far from over. And I predict this bit of sunshine and warmth will produce a good case of “Spring Fever” in all of us. So hang on. We will run until Daddy ( Ol’ Man Winter) takes the GT away, oooh, oh. Ooo. Oo, ooo. Oo,
