Well, we are in it now.
What? One my ask?
We are in Autumntime. Fall. You know when it gets colder. Sometime slowly. Sometime not so much.
The 1/3 rd of Autumn was quite pleasant. We had a great, what some call, Indian Summer. It was warm. Sunny. (Not too hot to sit out. 60s. 70s. Just the temps we long for in the heat (over heating) of the Summer. It was very nice to sit in the sunshine and not bake.
Though we knew that when the change came, as it always does, it would be dramatic.
We are here.
It snowed here today. Not just once but several time. So far it did not stick. So, we watch and wait.
It is coming. Snow here is not so much a surprise the middle and late third of the Autumn season. A lot of people mistakenly start calling it Winter. But it is not Winter. That happens towards the last of December. Everyone knows that they just get to busy to keep it straight.
I enjoy the middle and late Autumn because of the cold that sets in.
Winter is on it’s way. Don’t rush it. It can bring with it deep cold here and longings.
